Hello people, of the internet, I’m back! Work and life just got busy lately that I didn’t get the chance to shoot more and post. Well, I did some a month ago but didn’t get the chance to really post them. Enough of giving excuses though, let me share to you all our trip to Melbourne, Australia.
I’ve had this trip in my mind for very long and finally, we’re able to pull it off. Husband was not so eager before due financial reasons even though we can afford to go and sometimes I tend to get lazy processing for visa application, so it took this long. But it was all worth it. Just like how we planned for the biggest event in our lives – our wedding – everything just falls into place. Right timing is important, and so our trip to Melbourne was just in time.
According to Wiki, Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Basically, they are the cutest thing you can have. From my previous post, I told myself I will not indulge myself again (for now) in crochet because I have other priorities but when I found heaps of yarns at Spotlight, I can’t help myself but buy and boom, I started it again.
I found Ami, the cat pattern while I was browsing in Pinterest. I guess I could have restricted myself browsing Pinterest so I won’t trigger my “too-many-ideas-to-do” mind. But I never regretted it anyway. I think for me this is the next level in my crocheting skills after I stopped it for a while when I went back to Cebu. Although I did a crocheted baby boots for one of my nephew’s baptism. But making a stuff crochet toy is something I consider a next level. Chos!
Warning: This is a long post, you have the option to leave or continue! Hahaha!
This 7 days long holiday from work, 7 days short to home, was planned since December last year. When my colleague told me that we have 7 days company shutdown for Chinese New Year, I immediately booked a ticket. I didn’t tell my parents about this, and that I have to act as if I will not be going home anytime soon. Few people knew my plans, my sisters, my cousin and my husband.
As the days were approaching, my husband suggested that we should just tell my parents that I will be going home since we were having some issues on how he will fetch me from the airport. I insisted on keeping it as a secret. There’s one time that my mom and I were talking about the Sinulog in San Roque, that I have to ask her if I have a t-shirt too, which as always, I am included even if I am not present, just so I have mine too. Well all of us, in the family have each.
Can’t believe I got lazy arse this long, it’s been five months since I last posted in my blog. I’m not complaining about work got so much of my time in fact I’m just grateful I still have work that can sustain my daydreaming activities – travel, holiday and holiday with family.
So anyway, this night must have been one of those nights that I feel like I’m a writer (LOL!) and my fingers just have its own mind. So….. I’m sharing our Bantayan Island holiday.
Finally, got the chance to visit this island in my 20-something years (hahaha to the 20-something) of living in Cebu and boasting this island to other people, on how beautiful it is, yet even myself had not been there. But thankfully, husband made that promise and made my dream come true.
Last April 15, 2012, Ricci and I went to Batam, Indonesia, our first leisure travel together to another country aside Singapore, of course. 🙂 I got the tour on a deal for only S$69 per person, inclusive of ferry, half day batam city tour and 2 days 1 night stay at Harris Resort + free breakfast buffet + Indonesia massage.
