The Rabayas

Another set of photos that I get to “capture” (word from my mini twin, Jankoi). I manage to set up two sessions in one go, despite the very hot day and hot body temperature (Just kidding! I was already feeling better that day.)

Meet the Rabayas. My little sister, Novie and the soft-spoken Andoi. ^_^

[Maternity] Sherry

During my week long holiday in Cebu, I get the chance to photograph my sister and my sister-in-law. Despite hectic schedule and the not so cooperative body, I got fever the night before, so I am not feeling well that day. Also it was very hot even though it was still 10 am in the morning.

Meet Sherry. My sister-in-law. Mother of my 3 naughty but cutie nephews, soon to be 4.

[Personal] Meet Ami

Ami, short for amigurumi.

According to Wiki, Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. Basically, they are the cutest thing you can have. From my previous post, I told myself I will not indulge myself again (for now) in crochet because I have other priorities but when I found heaps of yarns at Spotlight, I can’t help myself  but buy and boom, I started it again.

I found Ami, the cat pattern  while I was browsing in Pinterest. I guess I could have restricted myself browsing Pinterest so I won’t trigger my “too-many-ideas-to-do” mind. But I never regretted it anyway. I think for me this is the next level in my crocheting skills after I stopped it for a while when I went back to Cebu. Although I did a crocheted baby boots for one of my nephew’s baptism. But making a stuff crochet toy is something I consider a next level. Chos!

Cebu in 7 Days

Warning: This is a long post, you have the option to leave or continue! Hahaha!

This 7 days long holiday from work, 7 days short to home, was planned since December last year. When my colleague told me that we have 7 days company shutdown for Chinese New Year, I immediately booked a ticket. I didn’t tell my parents about this, and that I have to act as if I will not be going home anytime soon. Few people knew my plans, my sisters, my cousin and my husband.

As the  days were approaching, my husband suggested that we should just tell my parents that I will be going home since we were having some issues on how he will fetch me from the airport. I insisted on keeping it as a secret. There’s one time that my mom and I were talking about the Sinulog in San Roque, that I have to ask her if I have a t-shirt too, which as always, I am included even if I am not present, just so I have mine too. Well all of us, in the family have each.

Summer in June: Bantayan Island

Not yet too late for summer.

Can’t believe I got lazy arse this long, it’s been five months since I last posted in my blog. I’m not complaining about work got so much of my time in fact I’m just grateful I still have work that can sustain my daydreaming activities – travel, holiday and holiday with family.

So anyway, this night must have been one of those nights that I feel like I’m a writer (LOL!) and my fingers just have its own mind. So….. I’m sharing our Bantayan Island holiday.

Finally, got the chance to visit this island in my 20-something years (hahaha to the 20-something) of living in Cebu and boasting this island to other people, on how beautiful it is, yet even myself had not been there. But thankfully, husband made that promise and made my dream come true.
