Warning: This is a long post, you have the option to leave or continue! Hahaha!
This 7 days long holiday from work, 7 days short to home, was planned since December last year. When my colleague told me that we have 7 days company shutdown for Chinese New Year, I immediately booked a ticket. I didn’t tell my parents about this, and that I have to act as if I will not be going home anytime soon. Few people knew my plans, my sisters, my cousin and my husband.
As the days were approaching, my husband suggested that we should just tell my parents that I will be going home since we were having some issues on how he will fetch me from the airport. I insisted on keeping it as a secret. There’s one time that my mom and I were talking about the Sinulog in San Roque, that I have to ask her if I have a t-shirt too, which as always, I am included even if I am not present, just so I have mine too. Well all of us, in the family have each.
Not yet too late for summer.
Can’t believe I got lazy arse this long, it’s been five months since I last posted in my blog. I’m not complaining about work got so much of my time in fact I’m just grateful I still have work that can sustain my daydreaming activities – travel, holiday and holiday with family.
So anyway, this night must have been one of those nights that I feel like I’m a writer (LOL!) and my fingers just have its own mind. So….. I’m sharing our Bantayan Island holiday.
Finally, got the chance to visit this island in my 20-something years (hahaha to the 20-something) of living in Cebu and boasting this island to other people, on how beautiful it is, yet even myself had not been there. But thankfully, husband made that promise and made my dream come true.
“This is your 30th birthday self-portrait!”
… one of my room mates jokingly said. I remember I sometimes tell them all of a sudden that I never got my 30th photo of me. So when we got the chance to go to this place (for me second time around) I took my pre-birthday self-portrait. Well after actually convinced them to have a photo shoot for a change for new year… a post-new year photo shoot actually. 🙂
I set up my laptop, sat on the floor and find myself instead watching videos, looking for upcoming concerts to watch, talking to my room mate and all of a sudden asked myself – “Why did I turned on the laptop again?“. Richie called and then I realized I have to make some post tonight.
I’m trying to catch up with some posts here on my blog. I’ve been in hiatus for quite sometime now, even having the feel of my camera seems like ages that I last touched it. Anyway, so much for that. ^_^.
These photos of Haelina, was a pre-birthday sesssion taken at Singapore Botanical Gardens (favorite place of yours truly).
This is a way too late upload. A lot of things came unexpectedly, including me getting lazy to go out and shoot. I just kept on looking at some of my old pictures and wonder when I will be able to go out.
On the positive side, yey! I’m back! 😀
This was a very short but fun session knowing this pretty, pixie, little niece of mine who sometimes doesn’t want to be carried by us other than her mama and her Ate Sally. I remember I only get the chance to carry her when I had a food. LOL! Anyway, this little darling will understand soon why we want to carry her because she is just so irresistibly cute.
A themed photo shoot for my niece Ashlee’s 1st birthday.
