Last Friday after work, eager to go out to the last minute and thinking of adding up my felties when I get home but then while on the bus it suddenly came up to my mind to try knitting. Head on to Orchard Daiso and bought 2 yarns and a wooden hook. When I got home I was so excited to start it, I watched a tutorial in Youtube for me to remember the basics. I used to do crochet back when mom did it also, I remember she made a knitted doll, but I don’t know where it is now. Hehehe!
My eagerness to start it had me do a little warm up using the green yarn, it took me 10-30 minutes to recall the basics actually and then decided to make a headwrap/headband with the yellow. This made me slept late and woke up early. I haven’t had a sound sleep last Friday because I was thinking on finishing this knitting project in 1 to 2 days. And yey! I did 1 day and 1 night. ^_^
The first two photos are the super late entry of our weekly photo challenge.
Earlier, after attending the mass, we happened to pass by Watsons and they’re having a sale; had a look and found an eyeshadow pallete which urged me to buy one and gratefully, Ricci didn’t stopped me instead he supported me. And I asked him why? He answered, “because I like the color”…hahahaha!
Aaahhhctually….I don’t know how to do makeup, I only know how to put blush on and lipstick…but for the eyes? Hmm..nope! But I’m actually practicing.. hihihi.. so hopefully this buying of the eyeshadow pallete will help me do so. Hehehehe!
I finished the headwrap/headband earlier this afternoon, I was so sleepy but it didn’t stop me to finish it, I’m 20 rows away to form the headband. 🙂 After I finished the headband, I took a nap.. hehehehe. Around 7 pm asked Ricci (the impatient assistant) to help me take some pictures, vanity strikes again!
Here are the rest of the pictures of what kept me busy the whole weekend. *wink*
After my afternoon nap, I decided to make a knitted flower to add some accessories, and when I feel a bit girly, I can always add this one up. 😉 It’s a detachable knitted flower.
That’s it. 🙂 My next project would be a beanie hat and that would mean like 2 or 3 pieces of yarn. Yay!
Hope you all have a nice weekend coz I did.
