Thursday Randomness: NinaRicci’s First Travel (Batam, Indonesia)

Last April 15, 2012, Ricci and I went to Batam, Indonesia, our first leisure travel together to another country aside Singapore, of course. πŸ™‚ Β I got the tour on a deal for only S$69 per person, inclusive of ferry, half day batam city tour and 2 days 1 night stay at Harris Resort + free breakfast buffet + Indonesia massage.

Don’t have much to say though. We enjoyed our holiday together. We woke up early on Sunday morning and went early to Harbourfront Bay waited there for quite couple of hours since there were timing as to when the counter will open for our set departure time, then afterwards head to the waiting lounge for another hour for the boarding gate to open. Then after 45 minutes to 1 hour, arrived at Waterfront Bay in Batam.

Photo below was taken at Golden Prawn. A man eating glass? I dunno actually. ^^,

We started out with a half day Batam city tour, where the tour guide brought us to different stores of their native delicacies and to Batam Center mall. Our lunch was in Golden Prawn, there we paid S$15 each for 7 dishes and 2 fruits plus a fresh coconut for the drinks.

Here Ricci can’t resist his wants to feed the fishes so he asked the girl who was feeding the school of fish if he could also have some sandwiches.

We don’t have much pictures in our half day batam tour from my DSLR camera, mostly from my phone and as of this writing Ricci was using my phone so I can’t grab the pictures that were in it. Β I think I’ll just have another entry for these pictures. πŸ™‚ Reason why I haven’t took pictures in the half day city tour because my camera wasn’t assembled yet. πŸ˜›

So pictures below were taken mostly in the hotel where we stayed. Enjoy scrolling just as much as we have enjoyed our time in there. πŸ™‚

Before we went to night swimming, we took some pictures. Yeah, my wireless remote and tripod is really useful. LOL! After our night swimming, got hungry and we thought that the food we brought which includes a nacho cheese chips, cookies and some we bought during the city tour, won’t be enough to satisfy our hunger. Hehehe! So we went to the Harris Cafe and had our oriental buffet dinner for S$15. Not bad! πŸ™‚

The next day, Monday, woke up early to see a sunrise but unfortunately that early was not that early.LOL! It was kind of late already but it felt good still when we went to the beach area. We went to the beach area before we head on to our free breakfast. πŸ™‚

After our breakfast we decided to tour around the pool area and took some photos and decided to have 1 hour swimming (I honestly don’t know how to swim! LOL) before we went to our Indonesia massage.

That was our short vacation together. Not much pictures though, as I’ve said will post others in other entry. Hehehe. We hope to have more travel together before having our baby. Hehehe.

Happy weekend friends! Keep yourself in love. ^^,
