Hello! Merry Christmas world wide web!
It’s the second time I spent Christmas far from home, Cebu. But it’s okay, I mean I’m trying to feel that it’s okay! *sniff* I know there are a lot of people who have been spending Christmas just like me and I bet theirs are quite longer than mine. I am still lucky though despite all this drama, it’s just that I’m still not used to it. But I didn’t cry huh! even if we only celebrated it with karaoke and buffet at K-Box until 9:45pm only and a bit of walking around Orchard Road then went straight home and turned on each other’s lappy and log-on to Skype to see our love ones celebrating their Christmas. As long as they are happy, I am happy too but still having to celebrate Christmas with them is a big smile in my heart. That’s just life. *wink*
Enough of the drama. It’s Christmas and I should be merry, we should be merry. =))

My housemates were teasing me that I cried during Christmas eve, but I didn’t, really! Hahaha! It’s just that I got an eye shadow and it went itchy the night the clock strikes twelve. What a coincidence! And they kept singing “Merry Christmas nalang sa akong mga minahal, sa akong mga kahigalaan” (Merry Christmas to all my love ones, to all my friends), a line by the way from a Bisayan song, “Pasko sa Binilanggo” (Christmas of a prisoner?!). I’m not a prisoner behind bars, I am a prisoner on the reality that I have to go to other country to find greener pasture for my family, just like every OFW does.

So at the office, we do celebrate Christmas in our own little way. Last Thursday, we had a company lunch, just a little salo-salo, and I was asked by our HR to take some pictures. Then the next we had our company exchange gifts and some lucky dip thingy, which of course, unfortunately, I didn’t win. Hahaha! And yeah, they said to dress up as there will be a surprise gift. But I didn’t. We Filipinos didn’t, instead we had our team colored Green.

Hahaha! That’s what we call wacky shot!
They don’t know really that I set my camera to a timer mode. See I was the one looking at it. LOL! Kuya Cris the guy in the center, told me that he’s saying “Yes” or some kind! Hahaha! I won’t dig into the details.
He’s referring to the woman who took the picture on the other camera! Hahahah!
Just like what Bruno Mar’s had sung, “Today I don’t feel like doing anything…”; yeah, I stayed all day in my bed, feeling really lazy. Last night I was hoping that it won’t rain so I could go to Botanical Gardens and bring my book there to study and it didn’t rain but I got really really lazy that I end up sleeping the entire morning, watch movie, played Tetris Battle and played Tetris Battle again and again. Waaaaa! I was hoping that I could get over with Tetris but every time I close my eyes, it kept playing in my mind. Tsktsk! I should stop this and focus on what I need to do. Fight! It’s already 5 in the afternoon, when I decided to go to Holland to buy some frap. I am broke right now yet I managed to buy this expensive coffee frap. Ha! It’s my Christmas treat to myself. I can’t go out to buy something because really, honestly I am broke. =P
I went back home with a big smile and excited to open the package I got from Josephine Sicad Photography. Good thing I did manage to check the mailbox before I went up. My day didn’t turned out that boring after all when I opened the package and found a very cute pocket journal. Yay! Can’t help but take some photos of it.

It’s the first time that I got a package from someone I just knew online.
It’s a great feeling knowing that you found a friend from a million people in the world wide web. And what’s more overwhelming is that you are from the same place and you speak the same language and I found an inspiration. I am able to communicate with her through email and I think she’s a nice person. I hope to meet her here in Singapore one day.

Thank you Jo for the cutest Christmas gift.
I really really love it. *big smile*
Merry Christmas everyone and in 5 days it’s Happy New Year 2012 to all!
