November 8, 2011. ROM, Singapore.
This is a super late post of Joey and Diane’s civil wedding. I posted a sneak peak of their pictures here, but the next day I wasn’t able to post the entire shots. Know why? Because I was thinking of making a gallery of my new homepage, but I realized it’s quite a hassle, though I already made previously but choosing the best photos to be displayed there is not an easy task. It’s either I don’t know which is which or I don’t think I have one! hehehe! Anyways, since this blog is all about LOVE & LIFE and having to witness a new beginning of love and life for Joey and Diane, I posted it here. *wink*
Super sorry for the late post J & D. ^_^.

When I arrived at the hotel, they were already dressed up. Waiting for the time and waiting for me. hehehe! Good thing it’s not so cloudy outside so I made use of the window. One of my favorite shots is this. Well actually this was the first idea that popped in my mind when I arrived.
I just love the headdress.

I agree with J, a photo enthusiast doesn’t like to be taken with a picture. I guess except me! hahaha! but that is with the exception huh!, I only pose in my camera-I’m a bit vain =P. But this time he doesn’t have a choice, this was his and D’s day. ha!

While waiting for a taxi…

We arrived a bit earlier, and since we had two taxis in going to the Registry of Marriage, and while waiting for the bride. I took some pictures of the groom and his mother.

One thing I realized on my experience shooting this was that it is not that easy when you’re shooting alone. Good thing Diane’s friend Joy was there to lend a helping hand. hehehe. I was taking a video of the ceremony while she was taking the pictures. It sort of made me laugh everytime I remember how funny we were during the ceremony. She was running to and fro, making sure she will not be seen in the video, but she was seen actually, LOL! And I was hiding behind the plants to give a dramatic effect on the video? LOL!
And tadaaaa! They’re officially married. Kudos to Joy for the photo below. She was able to capture the couples happiness. *wink* *thumbs up*

The good thing about the place is that they have beautiful spots that will allow couples to take some pictures. And I just knew that ROM is just beside the Fort Cunningham Park, which is one of the places I love to shoot.
And one thing also, when you’re alone shooting, sometimes you ran out of ideas. Good thing again, Joey’s mother has lots of suggestions. She definitely saved my day!

Below are some of my favourite shots.

After the ceremony, we head back to the hotel to get some stuff and hmm..retouch? Well actually we also waited for the time of the reservation; did some chit chat and laughs, since the reservation for the reception was one hour past the ceremony. I liked the hotel’s hallway lighting so I took the couples outside.

And yeah, right! Retouched! Teheee!

So that’s it. It was fun and it was a celebration full of love.
Thanks for letting me capture your special day J and D. I had fun and at the same time I learned from my experience. *wink*
I must say, this is the only picture I had for this day. Hahahaha! =P
Congrats to both of you and live a happy married life, continue to spread the love
.

Since previously, I was thinking of putting up a gallery which I didn’t continue to do so, I made a photo montage of the pictures.
Enjoy watching.
* Oh by the way, since I have a background music before you play the video, stop the music first, it’s located at the end of this page. Thanks*
